Update on finds was created by Kim
Had a meeting with Lucy this morning to swop finds over.
She gave me some info on an item i found last year. Seems its an Iron age/Roman mount. 300 BC - 100 AD.
Also the curved item next to the Roman brooch (that has a minute bit of guilding still on it, she thinks is possibly part of a Roman bangle and the bit of pottery is Roman cream ware. I only picked it up cos i liked the shape of it.

Hi Kim, nice finds. Looks like you have come across an early army weapons range and have picked up some spent rounds. The three large lead rounds look like they could be from a Martini rifle which was used by the British army in the late 1800 early 1900's the flattish conical shaped pieces of lead are from lead rounds that were flattened when they struck the target.
